And what do you get when it arrives during naptime and I'm the only one home? Self portraits, of course! :)
Here's a comparison of the same pose, camera held at arm's length, no editing, no flash, no tweaking, different lenses:

I love my 50mm 1.8 too - I use it a lot in the house because we don't have a lot of windows (condo) and really lack natural light.
