Boo Banner

This is a fun little Halloween banner I made (with Ayla's help) to hang in my office doorway. I have it hanging so that the "Boo" side peeks into the kitchen, but it didn't photograph well that way, so I just turned it around to show both sides.

Riverchase Elementary Fall Festival - 10/9/09

I spent Friday afternoon manning a booth for my signs at the Riverchase Elementary Fall Festival.

At first I was glad it was moved inside due to the weather (humid & rainy), but looking back it would have been better for us vendors to be outside with all the other activities all in the same place.  We were hidden away in a classroom and although we had lots of people come through, it seemed like most people were interested in buying only bottlecap necklaces!  Who knew that was such a huge fad?  It's an elementary school girl thing I think.

Even so, we had a good time, I handed out lots of business cards to interested people, and it was great to get some in-person feedback.   Plus, my friend Kortney was at the booth next to me, so I had someone to visit with the whole time! :)

and the winner is...

The proud new owner of a personalized sign is.....

JANET SANDERS --- a Facebook fan -- and an old Arkansas friend. :)

Congrats!

And a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped "Spread the Signs" this week!

Boo

I've had this Imaginisce Spooky Town collection on my shelf for months.  Loved it, but wasn't feeling to "fall-ish" in the 99 degree weather.  So finally today, Ayla and I pulled out the pumpkins, she wore her pumkin shirt ($1 at Walmart last year), and we made ourselves some Halloween decorations:

Can't wait to play some more with these!

All Day Crop - Wrap Up

We had a great time at our MOPS All Day Crop yesterday!  Looking forward to another one in the winter (we think the end of January or sometime in February).

Inbetween visiting, introducing teachers, taking mini-classes, and eating, I managed to complete 7 layouts!  Not bad.  Plus, I made it my goal to use the AccuCut die cutting machine (borrowed from Scrap Etc. for the day) on EVERY page I did.  And boy was that fun!

I'd like to extend a special thanks to Scrapbook.com, Scrap Etc. Scripts Monthly Kits, Christine Ousley from Scrapbook Mania, Shirley Ross (CTMH), and Vita Padalino (Stampin' Up!) for contributing tons of door prizes, make-n-takes and mini-classes!

And here's what I made:

Fun times.  I always feel better after a day of scrapbooking.  Plus it was my first full day away from Paxton.  Went well I think.  You'd have to ask Ben for his version! :)

Personalized Painted Signs

Did you see?  I've added a new section to my web site.  Introducing "Signs by Andrea".  I've had so many people ask me about the signs I've made for gifts over the past couple of years, that I have finally decided to start selling them.

Interested?  Want one? Good!  I'll make you a personalized, one-of-a-kind sign for your home or office.  Or, you can buy one for a gift -- Christmas, birthdays, and don't forget the most perfect occasion of all for a personalized sign -- WEDDINGS!  Every bride will be thrilled to proudly display her new last name.

Check 'em out, tell a friend, and keep 'em in mind the next time you want to give the PERFECT personalized gift!  I'll ship to anywhere in the United States!
